Passage to India was established in 1993 as the first Indian restaurant in the Harrisburg area overlooking the Susquehanna River, by a husband and wife who had a vision to spread their culinary skills.
Having changed owners twice with one relocation since then, current owner/chef Terance took over in 2025 and has no plans on forfeiting his passion to share the authentic tastes of India with everyone near and far. Born and raised in Goa, he offers dishes popular to that region like vindaloo and xacutti; in addition to a variety of other options like our mango chicken, made with his secret ingredients. Today, we're proud to be a part of the Carlisle community, as Passage to India continues to prepare multiple dishes filled with diverse spices and powders daily from our hands to your heart.
